For a little girl,I've made this bamboo stitch set(mittens/hat) with a colorful yarn to wait for the return of summer weather...

Descente de lit pompon tricoté/ Knitted pompon rug

Pour se lever de bonne humeur et commencer la journée en douceur, un petit tapis déposé à côté de mon lit.
J'ai trouvé un lot de laine pompon dans un magasin d'entrepot, je l'ai acheté sans savoir ce que j'allais en faire (comme d'habitude quoi!).
J'ai monté 7 mailles et tricoté, tricoté en point mousse sans vraiment y réfléchir.
J'ai arrêté au bout de 8 pelotes car la bête commençait à peser son poids.

To get out of bed on the right side and to be in a good mood for all day, a knitted pompon rug next to my bed.
I've found some pompon yarn balls in a warehouse  and bought them without an initial idea (as usual)
I cast on 7 stitches and knitted,knitted in garter stitch.
I stopped after using 8 balls cos the thing's started to be heavy.

Et là il a fallu penser à rabattre les mailles et ce n'était plus amusant du tout!
Les pompons étaient trop gros pour la méthode traditionnelle et cela aurait été trop serré, même avec des aiguilles plus grosses.
Je me suis dépatouillée en utilisant un fil plus fin entre les pompons.

And then, come the casting  off and there's no more fun!
The pompon were too big for the usual cast bind off and it would be too tight, even with bigger needles.
I get out of this using a smaller yarn between the pompon.

Il est vraiment doux et moelleux car quand on tricote, on se retrouve avec 2 rangs superposés!
Il est petit (65x39 cm) mais c'est suffisant...


I really love it. It's smooth and soft on the touch cos when you knit 2 rows, they're superimposed!
It's small (65x39 cm/ 26x15,6")but that's enough...
